General 
        All payments for renewals of an existing hosting account are due prior to the
        end of its current billing period. Generally your billing period starts
        with the date on which your hosting account has been set up. For each successive period, your contract is renewed
        automatically unless we are notified otherwise. 
         
        The billing period is
        determined by the billing option you chose at the time of ordering. For
        payment we accept MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit cards, as
        well as checks issued on accounts with a bank in Thailand, money
        transfers via banks, money transfers via services auch as Western Union
        and cash money. 
         
        We do not allow any of the following content to be published on our servers: 
          adult material 
          illegal material (including stolen copyrighted material) 
          pirated software and hacking resources 
          software archives (including sharewares and
        freewares) 
          ROMs and emulators 
          any pages which provide links to the above materials 
         
        The following activities are prohibited: 
          installing network programs and daemons 
          using the cron utility to automate tasks more than once a day 
          sending unsolicited e-mail messages (also known as junk e-mail or SPAM) 
         any illegal activities, including but not limited to breaking in to remote systems, credit card fraud, theft, vandalism, threats, or violence 
         
        Violators of server usage policies will have their accounts temporarily suspended. They will then be contacted by Altaway Thailand and given the opportunity to remove the content in question before having their services reinstated. A repeated offense may cause cancellation of service without refund of any fees. 
         
        Exceptions to this policy can be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of Altaway Thailand, but such an exception needs to be explicitly requested by customers. 
         
        Altaway Thailand reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We enforce this policy to ensure a professional environment for the users of our system.
         
        Cancellation
        of your account
         
        You may e-mail info@visualweb.co.th with
        your cancellation request. Alternatively, you can also contact us by fax
        or mail. Your cancellation request has to be in written form. 
         You are obligated to pay for your account even if you do
        not use it, because we will have provided you with usernames, passwords, DNS
        entries, and an IP address, you have the ability to use your account. 
         
        Whether you are using or not using your hosting account with us is not relevant - you are still obligated
        to pay for the account. Even an unused account uses valuable system
        resources that could be used for other customers. 
         
        If you have a past-due
        balance on your account at the time the account is closed (either by
        your request or due to non-payment), the remaining balance must be paid
        within 30 days of when the account is closed. If we do not receive
        payment on the remaining balance in that time, we will begin efforts to
        collect any fees owed and we will apply a collection fee of Baht 1,000.-
        to cover our
        costs in attempting to collect your debt. In case our internal collection
        efforts fail, we reserve the right to turn the account over to a
        3rd-party (either collections agency or attorney) for further action. We
        also reserve the right to report your unpaid balance to credit reporting
        agencies as well as ISP/web host information services.  |
